Reflection #2 – Three Bags of Silver

Gospel of Matthew Chapter  26:14-16

Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests, and said, “What will you give me if I deliver him to you?” And they paid him thirty pieces of silver.

Reflection:

Do we place a price on friendship and erect conditions around it? Do we choose to whom we reach out in friendship?

Jesus calls us his friends. His friendship you cannot buy. It is a gift with no strings attached. It’s a gift that we need to give away.
