Gospel of Matthew Chapter 26:14-16
Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests, and said, “What will you give me if I deliver him to you?” And they paid him thirty pieces of silver.
Reflection:
Do we place a price on friendship and erect conditions around it? Do we choose to whom we reach out in friendship?
Jesus calls us his friends. His friendship you cannot buy. It is a gift with no strings attached. It’s a gift that we need to give away.
